Cybersecurity Analyst - Fidelity Investments

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and tune detection rules across multiple platforms to identify insider threats and data exfiltration attempts.
• Conduct threat‑hunting investigations, analyzing activity patterns and behaviors to uncover hidden risks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional security teams to respond to incidents, contain threats, and implement remediation actions.
• Automate analysis workflows and reporting using Python scripts and SIEM tools.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging threats and recommend enhancements to security posture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with a focus on insider threat detection and incident response.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk) and scripting languages such as Python.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting logs, network traffic, and user behavior data.
• Hands‑on experience designing detection logic and conducting threat‑hunting investigations.
