About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop secure cyber solutions for complex defense systems, ensuring compliance with Secret clearance requirements.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential security gaps.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into software and hardware development lifecycles.
- Lead incident response efforts, performing root cause analysis and implementing remediation strategies.
- Document security architecture, design decisions, and compliance evidence for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber systems engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in secure software development practices, network security protocols, and threat intelligence frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days.
