Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cyber solutions for a large public transport organization, leveraging cloud, network, and governance expertise to protect critical data and infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end‑to‑end cyber security solutions across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.
- Define security standards, policies, and controls aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risks, conduct threat modeling, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead incident response planning, testing, and post‑incident analysis to continuously improve resilience.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and operations staff on secure design and deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cyber security architecture or related roles within large, complex organizations.
- Proven expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure) and network security design.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR), and incident response processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
