About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure software components for F‑35 training and logistics platforms.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement secure coding practices and perform static/dynamic analysis to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into system architecture and operational processes.
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats, defense standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and resilience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in secure software engineering within a defense or aerospace environment.
- Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA) and secure coding standards (e.g., MISRA, CERT).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with programming languages such as C/C++ or Python and familiarity with embedded or real‑time systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills in a highly regulated setting.
