About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform security hardening of embedded and server‑based systems used in underwater platforms.
- Design, develop, and integrate security functions such as authentication, encryption, and intrusion detection.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate risks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional hardware and software teams to embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Maintain and improve security tooling, scripts, and automation using Python and C++.
Requirements
- Strong background in cyber security engineering, preferably in defense or critical infrastructure.
- Hands‑on experience with system hardening techniques and secure coding in Python and C++.
- Knowledge of network security protocols, cryptography, and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable experience.
