Security Engineer
Cyber Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security controls across cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments, ensuring compliance and protecting enterprise systems, applications, and data.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption across multi‑cloud and on‑premise infrastructures.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security architecture reviews to identify and remediate risks.
- Implement and manage SIEM solutions, monitoring logs, and responding to security incidents.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best‑practice documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with hands‑on experience in cloud security (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in security architecture, threat modeling, and risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
