About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events across enterprise networks, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery of compromised assets.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to uncover security gaps and recommend remediation.
- Develop and maintain security tools and scripts (Python, Bash) to automate detection and response workflows.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into development and deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with incident response frameworks and threat hunting techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and Linux system administration.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS) and penetration testing frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
