About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cyber range platforms that simulate complex network environments for warfighter and federal agency training.
- Integrate modeling and simulation (M&S) tools with live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, architecture, and performance metrics for cyber range solutions.
- Implement secure, scalable infrastructure using cloud and on‑prem technologies, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
- Develop automation scripts in Python and C++ to streamline scenario creation, data collection, and analytics.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and training staff.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cyber range, M&S, or related defense training environments.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and network security protocols.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with LVC integration, scenario scripting, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
