About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cyber range platforms that support realistic, mission‑critical training scenarios for federal and defense stakeholders.
- Integrate simulation and modeling (M&S) tools with live, virtual, and constructive environments to deliver comprehensive training solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, develop test plans, and validate system performance and security.
- Maintain and optimize cloud‑based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and training staff on cyber range operations and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cyber range or simulation engineering, with a strong background in network security and virtual training environments.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands‑on experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and data analysis.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high‑quality training solutions to federal and defense clients.
