Senior Cyber Platforms Engineer leading the design, implementation, and automation of enterprise identity, privileged access, and security orchestration platforms on AWS, driving shift‑left practices and continuous improvement.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable identity and privileged access management solutions that support the organization’s cyber strategy.
- Automate platform provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Python, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery.
- Integrate security orchestration, detection, and response tools to provide real‑time visibility and rapid remediation across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement shift‑left security controls, ensuring secure coding and deployment practices.
- Lead incident response activities, conduct root‑cause analysis, and develop post‑mortem documentation to improve platform resilience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on identity and privileged access solutions.
- Proficiency in Python scripting, Terraform, and cloud security best practices on AWS.
- Hands‑on experience with security orchestration platforms (e.g., SOAR) and SIEM integration.
- Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle and DevSecOps principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
