Customer Reliability Engineer

As a Customer Reliability Engineer at Supabase, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and uptime of our customer-facing systems. You will work closely with our engineering teams to identify and resolve issues that impact our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of software systems, a passion for problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. You will be working with a distributed team and will be expected to collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer support teams to ensure that our customers have a seamless experience with our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve production issues that impact customer experience
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement solutions to prevent future issues
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection of issues
• Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve customer-impacting issues
• Develop and maintain documentation for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering or reliability engineering role
• Strong understanding of software systems, including architecture, scalability, and performance
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with cloud-based systems, such as AWS
