About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures for federal customers, ensuring compliance with U.S. government regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on security best practices, threat modeling, and risk mitigation in a customer‑facing capacity.
- Lead incident response activities, conduct post‑incident reviews, and recommend remediation plans.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into cloud deployments and automate security workflows.
- Educate and train customers on security policies, tools, and procedures to enhance their security posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, information security, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud security architecture, customer support, or security operations.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards, and federal security requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- U.S. citizenship required to meet compliance and potential classified information access.
