Data Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines that transform raw customer data into actionable insights, leveraging SQL, Python, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows to ingest, cleanse, and transform customer data from diverse sources.
- Build and maintain data models and schemas in cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake).
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to deliver high‑quality datasets for analytics and reporting.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Document data pipelines, processes, and best practices for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data engineering with SQL and Python.
- Hands‑on knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
