Engineering Manager
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑wide technology solutions, shaping cloud strategy, security, and governance for a large public sector organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with agency goals and regulatory requirements.
- Design, evaluate, and guide the adoption of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and related services.
- Establish IT governance, security standards, and best practices across all technology projects.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to systems analysts, developers, and infrastructure engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, systems analysis, or senior technical leadership.
- Proven expertise in cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure) and DevOps pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, IT governance, and compliance in a public‑sector environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
