About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain water supply and distribution systems for AWS data centers, ensuring continuous operation and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct field inspections, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize water system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—software, hardware, network, and operations—to integrate water infrastructure with overall data center design and operations.
- Develop and enforce preventive maintenance plans, safety protocols, and environmental compliance measures for water systems.
- Analyze system performance data, generate reports, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water infrastructure design, installation, and maintenance for large‑scale facilities.
- Strong knowledge of AWS data center infrastructure, power, and cooling systems.
- Proficiency in field engineering tools, GIS, and CAD software.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
