Software Engineer
Responsible for day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of critical data center facilities, ensuring reliability of electrical, HVAC, fire safety, security and emergency power systems through proactive maintenance and rapid fault response.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily operation, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of all building infrastructure supporting critical data center environments.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical distribution, HVAC, fire/life safety, security, and emergency backup systems, minimizing downtime.
- Execute scheduled inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and client SLAs.
- Coordinate emergency response actions, including power restoration and system shutdown procedures, while maintaining detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan upgrades, retrofits, and capacity expansions for building systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience maintaining electrical, HVAC, fire/life safety, and security systems in a data center or similar mission‑critical environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and remediate system faults.
- Knowledge of emergency power systems (UPS, generators) and related testing protocols.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and documentation practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, HVAC, Electrical) preferred.
