Cost Engineering & Sourcing Strategy Analyst - acehardware

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cost breakdowns and total cost of ownership analyses for existing and new product lines.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, and risk across the supplier base.
• Build financial models and dashboards to track cost trends, savings opportunities, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product development, procurement, and finance—to align cost targets with business objectives.
• Maintain and enhance SAP cost data structures, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Lead supplier negotiations, evaluate bids, and manage vendor performance to achieve targeted savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; 2+ years of experience in cost engineering or strategic sourcing.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros) and experience with SAP cost modules.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of influencing internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a continuous‑improvement focus on cost reduction and sourcing efficiency.
