Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security architecture, ensuring robust threat modeling, risk assessment, and compliance across network and cloud environments for a global space infrastructure organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain a comprehensive security framework that protects critical space communication assets across on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for new and existing systems, translating findings into actionable mitigation plans.
- Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with industry regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, DoD Cybersecurity).
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to embed security controls early in the development lifecycle.
- Lead incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and post‑incident analysis to continuously improve resilience.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture, with a focus on network and cloud security.
- Deep knowledge of threat modeling techniques, risk assessment frameworks, and security compliance standards.
- Hands‑on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
