About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop cooperative engagement capability (CEC) software components, ensuring alignment with system requirements and performance goals.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate CEC solutions into larger naval systems, managing interfaces and data flows.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and verification activities, documenting results and driving corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support program management with status reporting.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve CEC architecture and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in systems engineering for complex defense or aerospace platforms.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with real‑time operating systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
