Systems Engineer
Controls Systems Engineer responsible for maintaining, optimizing and developing PLC, SCADA and process control solutions across multiple cement plant sites, driving reliability and digital automation initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA and HMI systems to ensure continuous, safe plant operation.
- Design, program and commission new control logic for process upgrades and automation projects.
- Collaborate with the Senior Control Systems Engineer and cross‑functional teams to implement digital transformation initiatives.
- Perform root‑cause analysis of control system failures and develop preventive maintenance strategies.
- Provide technical support and training to operations staff on control system functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA/HMI platforms.
- Strong knowledge of process control principles, instrumentation and industrial networking.
- Proven ability to work across multiple sites and manage project timelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and documentation skills.
