Controls System Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting high‑speed automation solutions using PLC, SCADA, and HMI technologies to optimize manufacturing performance and safety.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC logic for high‑speed production lines.
- Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI interfaces for real‑time monitoring and control.
- Integrate motion control and safety instrumented systems to meet production and safety standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to implement automation solutions.
- Perform root‑cause analysis, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of control systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls engineering.
- Strong knowledge of motion control, safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508), and industrial communication protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
