About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering groups to translate functional requirements into robust control and diagnostic solutions.
- Define subsystem‑level control and diagnostics requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards, government regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and verify control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink and implement them in C/C++ on embedded controllers.
- Create and execute test plans to validate subsystem performance, safety, and diagnostic coverage.
- Optimize control designs through modeling, simulation, data collection, and statistical analysis.
- Document design decisions, verification results, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on control systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ for embedded development.
- Experience with model‑based design, control algorithm development, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Strong analytical skills for data‑driven optimization and problem solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively across functional groups.
