About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of controls and robotics engineers.
- Design, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions for complex automation systems.
- Oversee robot integration, motion control, and safety system implementation.
- Collaborate with project managers to define scope, schedule, and quality standards, ensuring on‑time delivery.
- Partner with HR for recruiting, onboarding, and continuous training of engineering talent.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and documentation of control engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field; 8+ years of controls engineering experience.
- Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering automation projects.
- Strong expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens), robotics integration, and HMI/SCADA platforms.
- Solid project management skills, including budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and mentorship abilities.
