Controls Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for fuel handling operations, leveraging PLC, SCADA, and DCS technologies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC and DCS logic for fuel handling equipment.
- Configure and maintain SCADA/HMI interfaces for real‑time monitoring and operator control.
- Integrate safety instrumentation and interlocks to meet regulatory and plant safety standards.
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, and electrical teams to define control requirements and validate system performance.
- Document control strategies, create functional specifications, and produce detailed control system documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in control system design for process or fuel handling plants.
- Proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA/DCS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, safety instrumented systems, and control system integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
