About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate PLC control logic for low‑ and medium‑voltage switchgear applications.
- Configure and program protection relays to meet safety and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with electrical design teams to integrate control systems into overall power system architecture.
- Perform functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis of control system issues.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and compliance reports for regulatory and customer audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and protection relay configuration.
- Strong knowledge of low‑ and medium‑voltage switchgear and power system protection principles.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and documentation.
