QA Engineer
Controls and Automation Engineer responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems to optimize plant operations and ensure reliable water and wastewater product manufacturing.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC logic for production lines and process controls.
- Configure and maintain SCADA/HMI interfaces to provide real‑time monitoring and alarm management.
- Integrate DCS modules and ensure seamless communication between field devices and central control.
- Collaborate with instrumentation and mechanical teams to implement control strategies and validate performance.
- Document control system architecture, change orders, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in water or wastewater processing.
- Proficiency with Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider PLC programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA/HMI platforms (Wonderware, Ignition, or similar).
- Experience with DCS integration and fieldbus protocols (PROFIBUS, Modbus, EtherNet/IP).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
