QA Engineer
Mid‑level engineer responsible for designing, programming, and optimizing control and automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic cells, to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and commission PLC and HMI/SCADA solutions for automotive manufacturing equipment.
- Integrate robotic and motion‑control systems, ensuring seamless communication with existing control architecture.
- Perform system simulations, validation, and troubleshooting using MATLAB/Simulink and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define automation requirements, create detailed documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and upgrade control hardware and software, applying industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Proficiency in robotics integration, motion control, and industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
- Strong analytical skills with experience using MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and validation.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective communication within multidisciplinary teams.
