QA Engineer
Design and implement control and automation solutions for automotive exterior systems, leveraging PLCs, HMI, CAN bus, and embedded C to deliver reliable, high‑performance functionality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and commission PLC‑based control systems for liftgate and exterior trim applications.
- Create and integrate HMI interfaces to enable intuitive operator interaction and diagnostics.
- Design and validate CAN bus communication architectures ensuring robust data exchange between modules.
- Perform control algorithm development and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink, translating results into embedded C code.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, conduct hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing, and resolve integration issues.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and compliance reports in accordance with automotive standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field with 3+ years of experience in automotive control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development tools.
- Strong knowledge of CAN bus protocols and embedded C development for microcontroller platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with MATLAB/Simulink for control algorithm design and validation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and strong written and verbal communication.
