QA Engineer
Designs, programs, and commissions automation control systems for water, wastewater, and manufacturing facilities, managing projects from concept through field installation and start‑up while applying strong troubleshooting and systems integration expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control system architecture for water, wastewater, and manufacturing projects, including PLC, SCADA, and HMI specifications.
- Program PLCs and configure SCADA/HMI interfaces using ladder logic, structured text, and other industry languages.
- Perform site installation, wiring, and commissioning of automation equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct functional testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of control loops, networks, and field devices to achieve reliable operation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate instrumentation, sensors, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
- Provide technical documentation, as‑built drawings, and training for operations personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and control system commissioning.
- Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and industrial communication protocols.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues on site.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a project team.
