Systems Engineer
Contract Systems Engineer responsible for designing aircraft systems, creating detailed technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with FAA, TCCA, and EASA standards through rigorous validation and verification processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive system designs and aircraft modification plans.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including requirements documents, schematics, interface control documents, wiring diagrams, and certification plans.
- Lead validation and verification activities, preparing functional test requirements and equipment qualification test plans.
- Coordinate aircraft‑level test plans, analyze test reports, and generate design compliance reports.
- Review installation drawings, qualification test data, and issue papers to support certification efforts.
Requirements
- Strong background in aircraft systems engineering and familiarity with FAA, TCCA, and EASA certification processes.
- Proven experience in requirements management, technical documentation, and test planning.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities for cross‑functional collaboration.
