This role involves transforming prototypes into production solutions, supporting operations, and integrating the latest advancements in these fields.

This is a 1-year contract under a 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to the partner company.
The Data Scientist will serve as a technical expert in the fields of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Language Model Learning (LLM), especially in the areas of Chatbot, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and LLM Inference.
Responsibilities
- Work as a technical expert with extensive knowledge in NLP, specialize in LLM RAG, Chatbot and LLM Inference. This requires staying abreast of the latest advancements in these fields and integrating this knowledge into our workflow.
- Transforming prototypes into production solutions with best practices for both development and deployment. This will require a comprehensive understanding of the technical requirements, as well as the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Supporting the operation of the solutions involves troubleshooting and bug fixing, as well as implementing change requests to ensure that the solutions continue to meet user requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/ Statistics or equivalent.
Profile/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in NLP/AI/ML, including at least 1 year focusing on LLM.
- Hands-on work experience in the field of LLM/Generative AI, Chatbot, RAG, or LLM Inference. This includes conceptualizing, designing, and implementing AI solutions powered by LLM.
- Extensive experience in Software Engineering & Development cycles (CI/CD) with proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python.
- Good understanding and experience of Kubernetes / Openshift Platform.
- Basic web development knowledge would be beneficial, but not essential.
