Frontend Developer
Contract Front-End Developer needed to maintain and enhance marketing websites built with Next.js and to update RapidLMS storefronts via a proprietary CMS, using modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git workflows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve marketing websites built on Next.js, ensuring performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Implement UI updates and new features using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to translate design mockups into responsive, pixel‑perfect front‑end code.
- Manage code changes through Git, conduct code reviews, and merge pull requests following the team’s workflow.
- Update and customize RapidLMS storefronts using the proprietary CMS, handling content, layout, and styling adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front‑end bugs, cross‑browser issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience with Next.js and React.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including modern layout techniques).
- Hands‑on experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms; experience with RapidLMS or similar proprietary systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently on a contract basis, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with a remote marketing team.
