Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable digital publishing solutions, shaping content architecture across CMS platforms, XML workflows, and UX standards to deliver high‑quality academic content worldwide.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end content delivery pipelines for digital publishing, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with editorial, design, and engineering teams to define content models, metadata standards, and XML schemas.
- Lead the migration and integration of legacy content into modern CMS platforms, optimizing workflows and reducing turnaround times.
- Champion best practices in UX design, accessibility, and responsive publishing across web, mobile, and e‑book formats.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and content specialists.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content architecture or digital publishing engineering.
- Proficient with CMS technologies (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal) and XML/HTML authoring.
- Strong understanding of metadata standards (Dublin Core, MODS) and digital asset management.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
