Devops Engineer
Design, develop, and maintain container orchestration infrastructure for mission‑critical naval combat systems, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and automation tools in a DevOps environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Kubernetes clusters to support naval combat system workloads.
- Develop and maintain Docker container images and associated registries.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Linux hosts using Ansible and Bash scripting.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable delivery of containerized applications.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for container platform issues, providing troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure security, compliance, and mission readiness of the infrastructure.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash).
- Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Ansible.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
