Software Engineer
Consultant role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining Selenium‑based test automation solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality releases within an Agile, CI/CD environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and Java.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests, reporting defects and tracking resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing test estimates and contributing to sprint planning.
- Continuously improve test processes, adopting best practices for test data management and API testing.
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java programming.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and test‑driven development.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and working with tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
