Software Engineer
Lead AI and data engineering projects, designing scalable data pipelines, implementing machine learning models, and optimizing cloud-based analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines and data lake architectures on AWS.
- Implement and tune machine learning models, ensuring reproducibility and performance at scale.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform data quality assessments, profiling, and enrichment to support analytics and reporting.
- Document architecture, code, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python, SQL, and data engineering frameworks (Spark, Flink).
- Hands‑on knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and SageMaker.
- Proven track record in building and deploying machine learning models in production.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication skills in German and English.
