Software Engineer
Experienced Construction Project Engineer to oversee data‑center builds, handling planning, procurement, cost control, schedule monitoring, and project closeout while supporting the Project Manager throughout all phases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking milestones and critical path activities for data‑center construction.
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and change orders to ensure financial targets are met.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including material buyout, vendor selection, and delivery logistics.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to verify compliance and resolve design issues.
- Assist the Project Manager in risk identification, issue resolution, and reporting project status to stakeholders.
- Support project closeout by compiling as‑built documentation, punch‑list completion, and final cost reconciliation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial or data‑center construction engineering.
- Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and cost estimating tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and blueprint reading.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
