About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with design and construction teams to integrate safety requirements into project specifications and drawings.
- Monitor construction activities, provide on‑site safety supervision, and lead incident investigations.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and training programs for project personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction engineering with a strong focus on safety management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project for design review and schedule control.
- In‑depth knowledge of occupational health and safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001) and ability to obtain relevant certifications.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills to drive safety culture on multi‑disciplinary teams.
