About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of highway, road, and bridge projects from concept through construction.
- Develop detailed plans, specifications, and calculations using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Perform structural analysis and load assessments for bridge components.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and bridge design software.
- Strong knowledge of highway and bridge design standards (AASHTO, FHWA).
- Demonstrated project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
