About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies for connected automotive products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead threat modeling and risk assessment activities for embedded and IoT platforms, identifying and mitigating potential security gaps.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and network teams to integrate secure design principles throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reviews of automotive systems and supply chain components.
- Define and maintain security architecture, policies, and incident response plans for connected vehicle ecosystems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or embedded cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of connected vehicle architectures.
- Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA) and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Hands‑on experience with secure software development practices, code review, and secure coding standards.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and IoT security concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
