About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee security controls for connected vehicle platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management for embedded and IoT components.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and network teams to integrate secure design principles throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain security policies, incident response plans, and secure coding guidelines specific to automotive environments.
- Conduct security reviews, penetration tests, and code audits to identify and remediate risks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or embedded cybersecurity, with a deep understanding of connected vehicle architectures.
- Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA) and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Strong knowledge of secure software development practices, cryptography, and secure communication protocols.
- Experience with industry standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, AUTOSAR, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
