Lead the configuration and enhancement of web-based customer experience systems, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and usability across Virgin Australia’s digital platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and deploy web components within the company’s CMS to improve customer-facing interfaces.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional web solutions.
- Maintain and optimize front‑end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for performance, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Manage data integration and query design using SQL to support dynamic content and reporting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing technical input and estimating effort for backlog items.
- Document configuration changes, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support to ensure high availability.
Requirements
- Proven experience configuring and maintaining web-based systems, preferably within a CMS environment.
- Experience with SQL and data integration for dynamic web content.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on user experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team.
