Implementation Engineer
Engineer responsible for configuration and data management, technical integration, and delivery of engineering data for the P‑8 program, leveraging PLM tools, scripting, and database expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain configuration baselines and data repositories for the P‑8 aircraft program.
- Integrate engineering deliverables across multidisciplinary teams using PLM, DOORS, and version‑control systems.
- Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes with Python and SQL scripts.
- Support product delivery by ensuring data integrity, traceability, and compliance with aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, software, and hardware groups to resolve integration issues and improve data workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of configuration and data management experience.
- Proficiency in PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter), IBM DOORS, and version‑control systems such as Git.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience writing SQL queries for data manipulation.
- Knowledge of aerospace configuration management processes and standards (e.g., ISO 10007, MIL‑STD‑498).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate across diverse technical groups.
