The Configuration Analyst ensures that Sinch ’s billing platform is optimally configured to support our business needs. You will be responsible for configuring billing rules, workflows, and automation, ensuring system integrity and efficiency. Also playing a key role in supporting new product launches, system enhancements, and process improvements, allowing Sinch to scale efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Zuora product catalogue, orders, charge models, payment gateways and templates such as invoice, credit memos and customer communications.
- Work closely with the Zuora Administrator to support system enhancements and automation efforts and internal teams to understand and implement business requirements.
- Analyse and troubleshoot configuration-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Support the onboarding and migration of brands or products, by capturing effective requirements to ensure accurate setup in Zuora.
- Maintain documentation on configurations, system updates, and best practices in Confluence.
- Participate in UAT and system testing to validate changes before deployment.
- Stay up to date on Zuora enhancements and best practices to continuously improve system performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on Zuora-related tasks.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience in a technical support, billing operations, or finance systems role.
- Strong understanding of subscription billing processes and familiarity with Zuora, Adyen, PayPal, Stripe or similar platforms.
- Must have basic knowledge of finance and revenue operations.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk) for issue tracking.
- Billing System Expertise - Hands-on experience in configuring billing platforms, subscription models, and payment workflows.
- Technical & Analytical Skills - Familiarity with HTML, SQL, Excel, and reporting tools to validate data and troubleshoot errors.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting - Experience in diagnosing and resolving billing and invoicing configuration issues. Ability to investigate and resolve system-related issues independently.
