Responsibilities
- Design, implement and evaluate computer vision models and prototypes for challenging applications in the field of autonomous systems
- Report research findings and developments clearly and efficiently
- Be a great team player by engaging in collaboration with other researchers and engineers
Requirements
- A PhD in computer vision, machine learning, imaging sciences or related areas
- Strong knowledge of deep learning theory and practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch/Tensorflow in the context of computer vision
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to transfer academic papers and ideas into functional prototypes
- Ability to write and maintain high quality code on your own and in team using version control software like git
- Great verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in domain adaptation and transfer learning
- Experience using virtual environment, game engine simulation, synthetic data and/or generative adversarial network (GAN)
- Experience in robotics or automotive industry
