Lead the design and deployment of AI‑driven inspection systems for industrial automation, leveraging computer vision, machine learning, and camera integration to detect defects, read text, and track objects in real‑time environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy computer vision and AI‑based inspection solutions for manufacturing lines.
- Build robust applications for defect detection, OCR, object detection, tracking, and classification using state‑of‑the‑art algorithms.
- Integrate industrial cameras, lighting rigs, sensors, and PLCs to create end‑to‑end machine vision systems.
- Train, evaluate, and fine‑tune machine learning models, ensuring high accuracy and reliability in production settings.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in computer vision and machine learning for industrial inspection.
- Hands‑on expertise with industrial cameras, lighting, and PLC integration.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Experience with OCR engines (e.g., Tesseract, EasyOCR) and object detection frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
