This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices.
This position is responsible for supporting the management of the attorney compensation programs for a 500+ attorney, private practice law firm. On a typical day you will:
- Provides ongoing data and analysis support to the Attorney Compensation Manager
- Responsible for data provision for the of the annual Associate Compensation process; the Counsel Compensation process; and the SHARE process
- Provides routine analyses including monthly hours statistics, and quarterly/annual processes for special committees (REC, ISC, CEC etc.)
- Ongoing document management and tracking as it relates to attorney contracts, incentives, special bonuses and attorney transitions
- Works closely with Payroll staff to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all attorney payments
- Create and maintain contract partner payment schedule
- Ongoing tracking of hiring, departure and other status change information for attorneys and patent agents
- Data support for lateral analyses and pay equity review as needed
- Maintains Attorney Compensation SharePoint including updating structure and filing of all documents (lateral analyses, offer letters, ad hoc analyses, individual contracts, etc.)
- Maintain and update team-built tools (lateral analysis tool, partner compensation cadence calculators, etc.)
- Responsible for updating budget hours and administering year-end budget hours solicitation process
- Responsible for updating credit allocations and administering year-end credit allocation process
- Responsible for ad hoc credit allocation reporting
- Responsible for tracking PTE tax opt-in process
- Assist with internal and external survey data provision
- Participates in team quality assurance activities
