QA Engineer
Design and automate advanced communication systems for low‑Earth‑orbit satellite networks, leveraging Python, C++, RF engineering, and Linux to deliver secure, scalable IoT connectivity from space.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for satellite communication payloads and ground‑segment interfaces.
- Design, implement, and validate RF signal‑chain software and hardware configurations for LEO constellations.
- Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols (e.g., CCSDS, TCP/IP over RF) across space‑to‑ground links.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, performance metrics, and validation plans.
- Deploy and support Linux‑based embedded platforms, ensuring reliability and security of on‑board software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience in communications systems or aerospace automation.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for embedded and test‑automation development.
- Hands‑on experience with RF design, link budgeting, and satellite communication standards.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking stacks, and version‑control/CI pipelines.
- Ability to work on‑site, solve complex technical problems, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
