About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy secure communication systems, integrating voice, data, and video services across multi‑site environments.
- Implement encryption, access controls, and threat‑prevention measures to safeguard network integrity and confidentiality.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests, translating findings into actionable mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define security requirements, develop incident response procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations for reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in communications and security engineering within large‑scale infrastructure or enterprise settings.
- Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, VPN, SD‑WAN) and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
- Strong knowledge of encryption standards (TLS, IPsec, AES) and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Hands‑on experience with incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
