Lead the development and strategic direction of the Commodities Data Analytics Platform, driving advanced analytics, data engineering, and cloud solutions to deliver actionable insights for commodity markets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain the Commodities Data Analytics Platform (DEAP) using Python, SQL, and AWS services.
- Lead a cross‑functional team to design scalable data pipelines and implement machine learning models for market forecasting.
- Collaborate with product, risk, and trading stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure high data quality, governance, and compliance across all analytics workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement of platform performance, monitoring, and automation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a strong background in commodity markets.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda).
- Hands‑on experience building machine learning pipelines and deploying models at scale.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead technical teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering data‑driven business value.
